Insight ADVANCE, LP. ("insight", “we”, “us” or in the possessive “our”) provides this notice explaining our online information practices for our ADVANCE Suite™ online services (the “Service”) and the way your personal information is collected and used. If you do not agree with the practices explained in this policy, you should not use our Service, and if necessary, you should ask that your Account be cancelled. This policy applies only to information Insight collects from you in connection with your use of the Service. By using our Service, you agree to accept the practices and terms set forth in this Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined in this policy shall have the meaning set forth in the Terms of Service for the Service.

What information do we collect?

Registration is required to access the Service. When registering with our Service, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and Employer name. You may be required to choose a password that will be used to establish an Account and gain access to the Service. While most of the information we collect (independent of the information you make visible to us and others within the Service or voluntarily communicate to us by email or otherwise) is used internally for site analysis and improvement, some Service usage data and some of the demographic information in your registration data are used in compiling reports that we may disclose to our partners and your Employer as part of our business. However, it is important to note that, except as stated in this Privacy Policy, Insight will never disclose or associate with your Service usage any of your personally identifiable information. You should be aware, however, that your Employer and Admins for your Employer may have access to some or all of this information, and Insight cannot control the uses of that information by your Employer or the Admins.

How do we use your information?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

  • To deliver the Service and send you notices related to the Service, your Account and necessary updates. This includes fulfilling your requests and facilitating your communications with others through the Service.
  • To personalize your experience (your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs).
  • To improve our Service (we continually strive to improve our offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you).
  • To improve customer service (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs).
  • To administer a survey or other Service features.
  • To send periodic emails; the email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your use of the Service, occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.

Note: If at any time you would like to stop receiving future emails from us other than those emails necessary to communicate with you about any of our service(s) that you are using, please use the unsubscribe instructions we place at the bottom of each email.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and the password is encrypted into our databases only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems (which persons may include Admins for your Employer). However, due to the open nature of communication through the Internet, we cannot guarantee that communications between you and the Service, or between you and us directly, will be free from unauthorized access by third parties, nor that third parties will not be able to circumvent the safeguards we have put in place. Users of the Service do so at their own risk. Insight cannot absolutely guarantee the security of any information that is disclosed or transmitted online.

Do we use cookies?

Yes.

Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser that enables the sites’ or service providers’ systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.

We use cookies to understand and save your preferences for future visits and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are manyelements of the Service may not function properly, including the ability to login to the system correctly.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties except as expressly stated in this Privacy Policy.

Non-personally identifiable Service usage data may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

We do disclose your personally identifiable information to trusted third parties who assist us in operating our Service, conducting our business, or assisting you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your personally identifiable information when we believe release is appropriate in order to respond to a law enforcement agency request, subpoena, court order or other such request by a legal authority, to otherwise establish or exercise our rights or defend against legal claims, to investigate, prevent and take action regarding fraud or misuse of the Service, or to comply with the law, enforce our Service policies, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Insight or others.

Your personally identifiable information may be provided to a third party if Insight files for bankruptcy, or there is a transfer of the assets or ownership of Insight.

Insight, its partners, and each of their contractors and employees may view the content that you upload to the Service in order to provide the Service and otherwise perform the tasks set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Finally, any information that you may reveal in your User profile, in communication with other Users, in any User Supplied Content you may upload, that you may provide to Admins of your Employer, or that you may reveal in other online discussions or forums is intentionally visible to other persons and is not in any way private. You should think carefully before publicly disclosing any personally identifiable information. What you have written may be seen and/or collected by third parties and may be used by others in ways we are unable to control or predict.

Third party links

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer in our Service third party applications, products or services, or links to third party websites or applications. These third party offerings have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these third party offerings. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these offerings.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). We do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our Site and Services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

Online Privacy Policy Only

This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through the Service and not to information collected offline, or to information we do not deliberately collect or need for the provision of our Service, but which you may independently volunteer to send us, whether online or offline.

Reasonable Efforts

We will use reasonable efforts to comply with this Privacy Policy and will take prompt corrective action when we learn of any failure to comply with our Privacy Policy. We sometimes release beta versions of our products and services, which are further refined before the release of the final version. Because these products and services are still in a test phase, we may not always catch an unintended privacy issue, despite our efforts to do so. As such, we welcome feedback on any privacy concerns you may have. In light of the above and because of the complex and constantly changing nature of our technology and business, and the security risks associated with using the Internet, Insight does not guarantee error-free performance under this Privacy Policy. TO THE EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER LAW, INSIGHT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RELATING TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

Insight reserves the rights to modify its Privacy Policy at any time. If you have established an Account for a Service we provide, we will attempt to inform you of any modifications to this Privacy Policy that affect your obligations to Insight or our obligations to you: (a) by a message to you at the time you log into that Service, and/or (b) by such other means as we deem reasonably likely to reach you. If you do not agree with any such modifications, your sole remedy is the termination of your Account, which you may request by sending an email to admin@insighteducationgroup.com or using the Account deletion function within the Service, if that function is available. Your continued use of the Service after receiving notice of any modifications indicates your acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy. If you have not established an Account for a Service we provide, any modifications to this Privacy Policy will be effective as to you upon Insight posting the new terms and/or upon implementation of the new changes on the Service. You agree to review this Privacy Policy periodically so that you are aware of any modifications. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy.
